Josephine lives in Kibera with her 7 siblings and one cousin.

Ms. Oguta has taught at New Adventure School for 2 years. She decided to teach because she saw the need of helping the vulnerable children that the school was assisting. She wants people in the US to know that above all New Adventure in a Christian School that makes a point to teach and demonstrate to each student what it means to have faith in Christ.

Jesus is “the savior of my soul”.

Ms. Oguta enjoys preparing lessons for her students that will help them to learn and aquire new skills that will help them continue with their education and benefit them in the future.
